Description
Help students move beyond surface-level understanding and explore how authors use sensory language to help readers experience a setting and connect with the natural world.
The Orchard is a Year 3–4 Five-Day Text Exploration resource designed around the pack focus Language Features and the week focus Five Senses. Through Sophie's visit to an orchard after the rain, students investigate how authors use sight, sound, smell, taste and touch to create vivid imagery and bring a setting to life.
